Dog tired!

Well due to the fact that we have been crazy busy I feel like our poor puppies have not received the attention that they deserve! So this weekend we decided to get out of the house with them and go do some fun stuff! Saturday morning Brandon took Roxi to Sibley Nature Center with her back back and hiking boots for a walk, to work on heeling, and just to let her explore! She is carrying up to 20 pounds in her pack all by herself now! Brandon said she did great and made a few old lady friends while she was there!

While they were out me and the little pups went for a run and then came home and played in the back yard for a while! It was such a beautiful day! Once Brandon & Roxi got home we decided to head to Comanche Trails in Odessa and do a nature walk that many people have told us to try out. It was "ok," the area is kind of stagnate and was not exactly what we were expecting. But the puppies enjoyed the walk and meeting people on the trail! The puppies were popped after the walk! Maybe we will try it out again in the spring when the trees and plants will be all green and pretty!

The we got the wild hair to just head to Monahans and go to the Sandhills! Brandon has never been to the Sandhills so we decided to make the short drive to check it out and let the puppies run around in the sand! We had a blast and the puppies loved it...especially Roxi she was going up and down the sand like nobody's business and was not even tired from it! All you could see from Maggie were little trails of dust from her jetting through the sand. Brewster had fun but needed guidance to get from point A to B! He is camouflaged in the Sandhills so we had to keep our eye on him so we would not lose him! They were sad to leave and their faces were covered in sad! It was so cute!

They were all POOPED to the max on the car ride home and could hardly keep their eyes open! Needless to say they all slept really good last night and our bedroom was full of snoring puppies!

This week we are taking the puppies with us to Cloudcroft just to get a way for a few days! The dogs love the tent and camping! I think they are going to have a blast! We have all of our warm stuff ready to go, but hopefully it won't be too cold! I can't wait! :o)

Roxi LOVING the Sandhills!
